If we're not watching our favorite television series at my house (which lately is True Blood and Pretty Little Liars), my boyfriend and I usually spend our free time catching a movie or gorging ourselves with food. Yesterday, we were at Eastwood Mall, and since it was a Tuesday and new movies usually come out on Wednesdays, we ended up watching The Karate Kid. All I can really say about the movie is holy crap, Jaden's abs! Pretty much. We also pigged out on McDonald's and Cravings, and I was honestly still hungry afterwards. God.

Fun fact (also known as useless information): I've been ordering the same things from McDonald's since high school -- a burger Mcdo sandwich, fries, six-piece chicken McNuggets, and a McFlurry. And I always eat them in this order: fries, burger, nuggets, McFlurry. Mmm, I love fast food sfm. Another fun fact: The pair of lovebirds my family had back when I was in college were lesbians. I don't know what ever happened to them.

Yeah, I'm a little behind with the body-con trend. Tight miniskirts and form-fitting clothes in general aren't really my thing to begin with, because I feel fat in them. But they were on sale at Cotton On in Singapore, so I decided why the heck not. I think it's sexier and more forward than what I usually go for, but I figured a little bit of that won't hurt. Besides, I like how it makes me look like I have an ass. Heh.

However, it wasn't a particularly good day for flirting and sexiness when I wore this. A couple of pretty stressful things happened last night, including a lady who caused a scene at Pancake House over freaking iced tea. She yelled at one of the waitresses and made the poor girl cry! I just wish the waitress gets at least employee of the month, and I don't even want to say what I want to happen to that awful lady. I could call it a bad night overall, but I got to see my best friends in the whole world, so at least there was a bright side.

In other news, I learned how to do fishtail braids! I thought it was complicated at first, but it's actually pretty simple and straightforward once you get used to it. It looks sloppy with the loose strands sticking out, but I'll work on that some more. It'll be a shame to waste all this hair, since I'm planning on chopping it off after my sister's wedding in February, so I think I'm going to try to experiment with more hairstyles from now on!

Been sick the past couple of days (still am), so I haven't been able to do much of anything, except sleep. All I want to do is sleep! I was tied to my bed nearly the whole week, and barely had any work done. Luckily, the week ended on a good note yesterday in the form of straight hair, quality time with the boyfriend, and a (possibly) life-changing decision for me, among other exciting Independence Day things. More on the big decision maybe on another day when I'm feeling much better, but for now, I'll leave you with some of the things I ate yesterday.

The boyfriend's family invited me to a lunch buffet the other day at Seven Corners in Crowne Plaza, where Convi's dad works. I wanted to look decidedly cute and tasteful for them, while at the same time securing myself in this rainy weather we've been having. I don't usually wear leggings, but Convi told me to wear something comfortable. He and his cousins had initially planned to play laser tag or go bowling in the afternoon, but instead, we ended up drinking and playing Cranium at the hotel room until right before midnight, which equally needed comfortable clothing, I suppose.

A little side story on the rainbow ring: I first spotted it on Bestie of The Capricious Club when she featured it in one of her outfits. I thought it was beyond adorable, so after I saw her post, I immediately went over to Junk Studio's online shop to get myself one! Ok, I actually bought two. (I tend to impulsively buy two or more of something that I really like. Remember I bought two colors of the same shoe style? Yeah. I think I have a problem.) But but but! Good thing I got an extra ring, because I accidentally sat on one of the them! What. This caused the rainbow to snap off from the ring itself, gaaah, but thankfully, I was able to glue them back together. See, I like to be prepared for these kinds of things!

Was waiting for my boyfriend to come over this afternoon and decided to play dress up with one of my recently purchased hats and the new pair of glasses I bought yesterday.

I'm not really into the whole wearing glasses without prescription thing, because I actually need to wear glasses/contacts to function. But when I tried this pair on at F&H and Convi said that he had a crush on me wearing it, I got super kilig and bought them right away. Hee. I'll just have the lenses changed soon!
